Step One: The Information Gathering (Requirement Analysis)

This is the first and most crucial step while designing a successful website which any service provider takes for making a successful project. Every project starts off by gathering the specific information about the project which entails the requirements of a particular company or an organization. And with respect to that the business goals are analyzed which have to be achieved while designing the website.

There are certain things which have to be considered while designing the website………..

  • The purpose of the website has to be analyzed as what kind of product/service it is going to sell.
  • The goals or business objectives have to analyze as what a particular company wants to achieve by its website.
  • You also need to have to a clear about the target audience on which the website has to be focused.
  • The category and style of content also has to be observed which has to be conveyed to the target audience.

Step Two: Planning as per the Requirements

Now after moving forward from the requirement phase, the planning phase comes into play by which an entire work model pr work plan is developed which has to go in sync with the company’s objective.

Now here a sitemap is developed which consists of the entire main topics of the website along with the sub topics as well, whichever applicable. While developing the entire sitemap, always the requirements of the customers are taken into consideration.

It’s because of this phase an effective menu plan is generated for the website which provides the most optimized menu structure and navigation flow. Also during this phase the correct mix of technologies are discussed and proposed to be implemented as per the client requirements and business objectives. Most of the web design companies are really cautious and give their best during this stage.

Step Three: The Design Phase

After planning, comes the design phase wherein the entire work flow model or the planned structure is given life by actually creating it on visual perspective in the form of an effective design. A proper incorporation of colors and theme is done which has to go in sync with the brand display and the product/service which is being sold. This is turn helps in strengthening the identity of the brand.

Now here the mock designs are created considering the client’s taste and the business need and whichever design is found most suitable is forwarded for the developmental phase.

Step Four: The Development Phase

After the proposed design is approved, here comes the development phase where the website itself is created. All the service providers are focused at their extreme, as here in this very step the entire graphical elements and visual representations are actually converted into various functionalities infused at the planning as per the requirements.

The homepage along with the inner page layouts is put into and other functionalities such as interactive contact forms, flash animations or ecommerce shopping carts are implemented and made functional. All the functionalities are deeply analyzed and then put into performance with the help of efficient web developers.

Step Five: Testing and Deployment (Delivery)

Here the complete testing of functionalities is done time and again and if in case if any additional training is needed to be given to the client, that is imparted as well. The testing for the functionality of forms or other script and also the last minute testing is done for compatibility issues (viewing differences between different web browsers). Thus an assurance is assurance is given that your web site is optimized to be viewed properly in the most recent browser versions.

After the successful testing and approval an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program is used to upload the web site files to your server. This is how the website is actually launched on the live online platform and is made available to be viewed by public.

Step Six: Maintenance and Control

This is one of the crucial steps on which many organizations have been focusing upon.
